Important notice
Welcome to EuoraCraft Launcher ("ECL" or the "Software"). The Software is an independent, open-source, third-party Minecraft launcher developed by ECLTeam.
Important
ECL has no affiliation with, sponsorship from, authorization by, or other official relationship with Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or their affiliates. Minecraft and related names and assets belong to their respective rightsholders.
Please read this Agreement before using the Software. By downloading, installing, or using it, you acknowledge and agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, stop using the Software.
Users under 18, or otherwise without civil capacity appropriate for this use, must use the Software with the consent and guidance of a guardian.
1. Scope
This Agreement applies to official ECL releases and the local features they provide. It does not replace the terms or privacy policies of:
- Microsoft and Mojang account, authentication, and game services;
- platforms that provide game files, mods, modpacks, resource packs, or other community resources; and
- servers, mirrors, multiplayer networks, or other services that you connect to yourself.
When using those services, you are responsible for reading and following their applicable terms, licenses, and rules.
2. Software license and open-source code
The ECL source code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0) as declared in the project repository. Use, copying, modification, and distribution of the source code are governed by the full GPL-3.0 text.
This Agreement does not limit rights granted by GPL-3.0. When distributing a modified version, you must meet GPL-3.0 obligations and must not describe it as an official ECLTeam release or imply ECLTeam endorsement.
Official packages, project names, logos, and third-party content in the documentation may be subject to additional rights or licenses. Refer to the copyright and license notices in the relevant files.
3. Acceptable use
You are responsible for your use of the Software and its consequences. Do not use the Software for unlawful activities or deliberately interfere with, attack, or damage third-party services, servers, or networks connected by the Software.
When using game, account, community-resource, or multiplayer features, you must also follow the rules of the relevant rightsholders, service providers, and server operators, including the Minecraft End User License Agreement and community-resource licenses.
4. Local data and third-party services
4.1 Data is stored locally
ECLTeam does not operate remote servers for collecting, storing, or analyzing user data. ECL configuration, game files, logs, local account records, and other usage data are stored on your device and managed by you.
ECLTeam does not upload this data to ECLTeam servers, build user profiles from it, perform remote analytics with it, or sell, rent, or trade user data.
You can manage or remove local data through Software features, by uninstalling the Software, or by deleting the relevant local application data. Back up any saves, screenshots, configuration, or other files you need before deletion.
4.2 Direct connections to third parties
When you actively sign in with Microsoft/Mojang, download game or community resources, connect to a server, use a mirror, or use another online feature, your device may communicate directly with the relevant third-party service. Network traffic, authentication, and resource downloads needed for those features are governed by the terms and privacy policies between you and that provider.
ECLTeam does not receive or retain data from those communications on its servers. The availability, security, content, data handling, and effects of third-party services are the responsibility of their respective providers under their rules.
4.3 Information you submit voluntarily
If you voluntarily submit error logs, screenshots, suggestions, or problem descriptions through GitHub Issues, discussions, email, or another external channel, the submitted content is processed by that platform under its rules. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, complete account credentials, or other sensitive information in public feedback.
Note
This Agreement applies only to the ECL launcher. Documentation-site comments, GitHub pages, and other external websites are governed by the terms and privacy policies of their respective platforms.
5. Third-party content and resources
ECL may help you access game files, mods, modpacks, resource packs, shaders, servers, and other content provided by third parties. The copyright, licenses, quality, safety, and availability of such content are the responsibility of the relevant providers.
ECLTeam does not own third-party content and does not guarantee that it will remain available, error-free, safe, or suitable for a particular purpose. Before downloading, installing, distributing, or using it, verify that its source is trustworthy and follow applicable copyright, license, and platform rules.
6. Availability and limitation of liability
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Because of devices, operating systems, networks, third-party services, and game versions, ECLTeam does not guarantee that the Software will always be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every environment, or suitable for your specific needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ECLTeam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software, third-party services, or third-party content. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Back up important files and evaluate the related risks before installing mods, changing game files, updating the launcher, or deleting local data.
7. Changes to and termination of this Agreement
ECLTeam may update this Agreement when necessary and will publish the new last-updated date on this page. Material changes will be highlighted in a reasonable manner.
The updated Agreement takes effect when published or on the date stated in it. If you disagree with an update, stop using the Software. Continuing to use it after the update takes effect means that you accept the updated Agreement.
You may stop using and uninstall the Software at any time. If you seriously violate this Agreement or applicable law, ECLTeam may, where reasonably necessary, stop providing related services or support that it actually operates.
8. Governing law and dispute resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes arising from this Agreement should first be resolved through friendly consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring an action before a people's court with jurisdiction.
